Setelah mencoba berbagai macam cara root, mulai dari mempodroid, update.zip via stock recovery, dan unlockroot tidak ada yang berhasil, alhamdulillah akhirnya saya menemukan solusi di http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/ASUS_Padfone, iseng-iseng saya praktekan langkah tersebut dan berhasil masuk sebagai super user.

LINUX (All distribution)
Minimal distro linux anda punya terminal kampung rambutan atau konsole dan fitur eject. Download dulu paket-paket kelengkapannya. (Klik link dibawah)

DOWNLOAD FILE HERE !

Setelah download, extrak saja di folder yang anda suka, misal di folder /home/cidtux/donlod/andromax
1. Aktifkan adb dengan cara ini. (semua distro linux sama langkahnya)
2. Masuk folder donlodan tadi. & cek adb devices
$cd ~/donlod/andromax
$./adblinux devices
Harus sudah ada E860 jika belum ulangi langkah 1.
3. Exploit ICS 4.0.3 (kemungkinan bisa juga diterapkan di devices lain dengan versi 4.0.3)
$eject /dev/sr0 (klo anda pakai netbook, klo notebook /dev/sr1)
$./adblinux shell mv /data/local/tmp /data/local/tmp.bak
$./adblinux shell ln -s /data /data/local/tmp
$./adblinux reboot
ANDROMAX Reboot. tunggu sampai masuk lock screen.
$eject /dev/sr0
$./adblinux shell rm /data/local.prop > nul
$./adblinux shell "echo \"ro.kernel.qemu=1\" > /data/local.prop"
$./adblinux reboot
4. ANDROMAX Reboot. tunggu sampai masuk lock screen. Saat masuk lock screen, pasti system UI errorr... xixixixi, biarkan saja tandanya sudah kena exploit.
$./adblinux shell id
Klo sudah masuk root berarti sudah ok. Lanjutkan dengan mengcopy file-file yang dibutuhkan.
$./adblinux remount
$./adblinux push su /system/bin/su
$./adblinux shell chown 0.0 /system/bin/su
$./adblinux shell chmod 06755 /system/bin/su
$./adblinux push busybox /system/bin/busybox
$./adblinux shell chown 0.0 /system/bin/busybox
$./adblinux shell chmod 0755 /system/bin/busybox
$./adblinux push Superuser.apk /system/app/Superuser.apk
$./adblinux shell chown 0.0 /system/app/Superuser.apk
$./adblinux shell chmod 0644 /system/app/Superuser.apk
$./adblinux push RootExplorer.apk /system/app/RootExplorer.apk
$./adblinux shell chown 0.0 /system/app/RootExplorer.apk
$./adblinux shell chmod 0644 /system/app/RootExplorer.apk
--- Proses Root Selesai--- Lalu lanjutkan langkah dibawah ini.
$./adblinux shell rm /data/local.prop
$./adblinux shell rm /data/local/tmp
$./adblinux shell mv /data/local/tmp.bak /data/local/tmp
$./adblinux reboot

Selesai andromax anda telah di root. Nah berikut ini adalah hasil exploit di archlinux.

Smartfren Andro Max saat mengakses super user. :) di terminal

Lalu untuk unroot lakukan sampai langkah ke 3, dan ikuti proses unroot berikut.
$./adblinux remount
$./adblinux shell rm /system/bin/su
$./adblinux shell rm /system/bin/busybox
$./adblinux shell rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
$./adblinux shell rm /system/app/RootExplorer.apk
$./adblinux shell rm /data/local.prop
$./adblinux shell rm /data/local/tmp
$./adblinux shell mv /data/local/tmp.bak /data/local/tmp
$./adblinux reboot
Proses unroot selesai.

Step BY Step Koneksi ADB Smartfren Andro Max Hisense E860 Dengan Linux

Setelah membeli Smartfren Andro Max Hisense E860 sebagai penggila (linuxer) desktop maupun mobile, saatnya mencoba mengkoneksikan adb ke devices ini disistem operasi Linux. Dan hasilnya tidak dideteksi sama sekali. Sudah saya coba centang usb debugging tetap tidak bisa. Lalu saya coba ke windows, ketika diaktifkan Debugging mode, ternyata muncul drive cd rom. Jadi teringat akan modem-modem smartfren yang perlu eject untuk merubah mode.

Langsung saja saya coba praktekkan. Pertama-tama saya coba tancapkan Smartfren Andro Max ini. dan cek lsusb.
Hasilnya adalah
0x109b dan 0xf009.

Lalu saya aktifkan debbuging mode / usb debugging, yang terletak di settings -> opsi pengembang -> centang seperti gambar dibawah ini.

Lalu saya coba perintah
$eject /dev/sr0 (netbook)
$eject /dev/sr1 (untuk notebook/pc ber cd rom)
Lalu saya coba lsusbkan kembali.
Hasilnya berubah yaitu menjadi.
0x109b 0x9114
Langsung saja buat rules.
#nano /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules
isikan sebagai berikut
SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="109b", ATTRS{idProduct}=="9114", MODE="0666"
atau seperti pada langkah awal cara pengambilan snapshot dengan ddms.
save dan reboot.
Setelah login, ulangi kembali langkah enable debugging + eject diatas. (jika kabel tertancap saat reboot tidak perlu eject).
Lalu buat file adb_usb.ini
$mkdir ~/.android
$nano ~/.android/adb_usb.ini
isikan dengan
0x109b
jika sudah save

Lalu coba aplikasi yang menggunakan adb, sebagai contoh ddms. Dan langsung muncul. :D

Lalu bagaimana dengan sistem operasi tetangga, cukup enable debugging sampai muncul virtual cd drive, trus install drivernya.

How To Install Android SDK On Eclipse Pulsar

 

The first time you need to prepare is an IDE for developing applications based on Android. I chose to use Eclipse Pulsar because it supports mobile application development and simple interface. Please be downloaded and extracted Pulsar Eclipse.
The second step you need to prepare is to download the Android SDK. When finished downloading then extract and place the SDK folder in the desired location, for example I put in the root directory C: \.
The third step we set the folder path leading to the Android SDK. On the desktop right-click the My Computer icon and select Properties. On the Advanced tab click Environment Variables dialog box will then appear as below.

 

In the System Variables do double click on Path and change the Variable Value to its Android SDK location where the folder is located and added to the \ tools and then click OK.

  

 The fourth step we install the ADT (Android Development Tools) plugin for Eclipse Pulsar. If you have previously installed Eclipse Pulsar, then on the Help menu select Install New Software. In the Available Software dialog box click the Add button. Will be Add Site dialog box appears, enter the name of the remote sites (such as "Android Plugin") on the field "Name". In the field "Location", enter the following URL: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ then click OK. We will return to the Available Software dialog box, you will see "Developer Tools" already appears in the list. Check all the options on Android DDMS and Android Development Tools and then click Next.

In the resulting Install Details dialog, the Android DDMS and Android Development Tools features are listed.

Click Next and then will appear a dialog box Review of Licences select Accept the license agreement and then Finish.

Eclipse will download the ADT and the warning box will pop up select Yes.

When finished downloading and installing ADT, Eclipse will display a message like the picture above, select Restart Now.

Now you've finished installing the SDK required to develop Android-based applications.
